Sales
• Application Engineer
Requirements:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel.
- 3-5+ years relevant experience in vendor sales
- Thorough knowldege of VoIP system architecture and the SIP protocol
- Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and related technology, including SOAP-XML
- Understanding of the software development process and the C++ or Java programming languages is a plus
- Experience working with XMPP enterprise messaging is a plus
- Previous experience in project management and/or the technical documentation process is a plus
- A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
This position will be the primary technical resource for Solegy's field sales force. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The successful candidate must be able to articulate Solegy's technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The successful candidate must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process as well as establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations
- Present the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

- Familiarity with Struts or any MVC framework is a plus
- Knowledge of PHP and AJAX is also a plus

Requirements:

• Database Administrator
Requirements:

- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Knowledge in Voice over IP technologies (H.323, SIP), a plus

Responsibilities:
- Provide database administration services in support of current and future database requirements
- Proactively manage and maintain database resources
- Resolve issues relating to the database including but not limited to performance management and data management (including backup and recovery)
